We are responsible for 31 preschools, 17 primary schools, adapted primary school, Nyköping High School, adapted upper secondary school, and adult education at Campus Nyköping. Nyköping is growing, and our school organization is developing in line with the municipality. We are now looking for a primary teacher for leisure home at Buskhyttan School.

Our Organization

The F-9 operations include 17 primary schools and adapted schools, distributed across seven principal areas. Each area has a principal, deputy principals, and student health teams. With schools both in urban and rural areas, we work for increased equity, integration, and high quality in municipal schools.

In recent years, we have developed our systematic quality work and a common language development approach. Each school has scheduled time for conferences, development work, and collaboration.

About the Principal Area

The principal area includes Arnö School and Tunaberg School. Arnö School consists of the buildings Långsätter and Herrhagen, with about 300 students each from F–6. At Långsätter, there is also the adapted primary school with about 35 students. The school is located in a residential area with nature nearby.

Tunaberg School consists of Buskhyttan and Nävekvarn. Buskhyttan, 1.5 mil south of Nyköping, has 26 students in F–3 and a leisure home. Nävekvarn is located by Bråviken, about 2.5 mil from Nyköping, and has just over 60 students in F–6.

JOB DESCRIPTION

In area A, we are now looking for a licensed primary teacher for leisure home at Buskhyttan School. Your teaching should be characterized by an inclusive learning environment and high student activity. You should have good leadership skills, high relational competence, and a willingness to critically reflect on your own teaching and, together with colleagues, dare to challenge and develop the work for the students' best towards higher goal fulfillment. We work to develop reading and movement with the help of our lead teachers in the area, and you are expected to participate in that work and implement what you learn in your work with the students.

You will be part of a leisure team and primarily belong to one of our two leisure departments. You will also have close cooperation with teachers and students in one of our grade levels. We work in teams where each grade level is a team and where someone from leisure is included.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a primary teacher degree for leisure home.

You have the ability to drive development forward through a language and knowledge-developing approach. You see school development and systematic quality work as an important process in your daily life and part of the school's and educators' mission. You are a present and co-researching teacher who challenges and stimulates students to develop. A strong belief in teamwork and collegial learning as a success factor for pedagogical development is a given for you.

For the position, it is important that you have good collaboration skills as your work requires continuous cooperation with other colleagues and professions within the school. It also requires that you have high relational competence to create safe groups and good collaboration with guardians.

It is an advantage if you are versatile and creative and can hold various activities with imagination and clarity.

The position requires that you master Swedish well in both spoken and written form.
