We are responsible for 31 preschools, 17 primary schools, adapted primary school, Nyköping Gymnasium, adapted upper secondary school, and adult education at Campus Nyköping. Nyköping is growing, and our school organization is developing in line with the municipality. We are now looking for a wood and metal teacher for Herrhagsskolan.

Our Organization

The F-9 operations encompass 17 primary schools and adapted schools, distributed across seven principal areas. Each area has a principal, assistant principals, and student health teams. With schools both in urban and rural areas, we work for increased equity, integration, and high quality in municipal schools.

In recent years, we have developed our systematic quality work and a common language development approach. Each school has scheduled time for conferences, development work, and collaboration.

About the Principal Area

The principal area includes Arnö School and Tunaberg School. Arnö School consists of the buildings Långsätter and Herrhagen, with about 300 students each from grades F–6. Långsätter also houses the adapted primary school with about 35 students. The school is located in a residential area close to nature.

Tunaberg School consists of Buskhyttan and Nävekvarn. Buskhyttan, 1.5 mil south of Nyköping, has 26 students in grades F–3 and an after-school program. Nävekvarn is located by Bråviken, about 2.5 mil from Nyköping, and has just over 60 students in grades F–6.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for teachers who want to make a difference in students' lifelong learning. We work according to the school's curriculum and use digital tools in the work with pedagogical documentation. As a teacher, you are responsible for the pedagogical work in a grade, together with other teachers, student assistants, and study counselors in your team.

You will drive the subject focus in crafts, and we welcome previous experience in teaching lower and middle school grades.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a teaching degree with a focus on grades 4-6 and a license issued by the Swedish National Agency for Education. You have a clear pedagogical insight and the ability to translate the curriculum's goals into your work. You have clear leadership and stand strong in your student groups. You are flexible, structured, and well-prepared. You are a present and co-researching educator who challenges and stimulates students to develop. A strong belief in collaboration as a success factor for pedagogical development is a given for you. You have straightforward and humble communication with guardians and create trusting relationships with students and guardians.

You have a willingness to collaborate in teams and see opportunities before difficulties. A positive attitude is something we value highly. Digital tools are a natural part of your teaching, and you work based on differentiated instruction.
