Division Education

Division Education has over 1900 employees who work together to provide children, youth, and adults with a good education. We focus on stimulating students' learning based on their conditions and offer some of society's most important services. Here, your work makes a real difference.

We are responsible for 31 preschools, 17 primary schools, adapted primary school, Nyköping High School, adapted upper secondary school, and adult education at Campus Nyköping. Nyköping is growing, and our school organization is developing in line with the municipality. We are now looking for a Teacher for grades F-3 at Buskhyttan School.

Our organization

The F-9 operations include 17 primary schools and adapted schools, distributed across seven principal areas. Each area has a principal, deputy principals, and student health teams. With schools both in urban and rural areas, we work for increased equity, integration, and high quality in municipal schools.

In recent years, we have developed our systematic quality work and a common language development approach. Each school has scheduled time for conferences, development work, and collaboration.

About the principal area

The principal area includes Arnö School and Tunaberg School. Arnö School consists of the buildings Långsätter and Herrhagen, with about 300 students each from F–6. At Långsätter, there is also the adapted primary school with about 35 students. The school is located in a residential area close to nature.

Tunaberg School consists of Buskhyttan and Nävekvarn. Buskhyttan, 1.5 mil south of Nyköping, has 26 students in F–3 and an after-school program. Nävekvarn is located by Bråviken, about 2.5 mil from Nyköping, and has just over 60 students in F–6.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a teacher who wants to make a difference in students' lifelong learning. We work according to the school's curriculum and use digital tools in the work with pedagogical documentation. Our operations are characterized by a positive outlook, and we have a strong belief in the students' competencies. Together with your colleagues, you will work to create a safe, structured, developing, and stimulating learning environment for the students.

As a teacher, you are responsible for teaching based on the curriculum, where you translate the curriculum's goals into meaningful learning for the students. You will collaborate and develop the pedagogical work together with your work team and also with colleagues in the principal area.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed primary school teacher for grades F-3 with a focus on reading, writing, and mathematics. You have a clear pedagogical insight and the ability to translate the curriculum's goals into your work. You are a present and co-researching educator who challenges and stimulates students to develop. A strong belief in collaboration as a success factor for pedagogical development is a given for you.

As of December 1, 2013, there are licensing requirements for permanent employment. Please attach your license to your application.
