General Practitioner Specialist Wanted

We are looking for a specialist in general medicine who enjoys working in a dynamic workplace in a multicultural environment.

Our friendly health center is centrally located at Hässelby Torg, near the green line subway. We have approximately 17,000 registered patients, of which about 280 are enrolled in home care. Hässelby health center is operated under the auspices of Region Stockholm. The health center receives students from various professions, and we supervise medical students from terms 9 and 11. Our goal is to provide high-quality care with high patient safety while we work together for a good work environment.

Within the health center, there is home care, BVC assignments, a psychosocial team, and well-functioning nursing clinics for patients with diabetes, hypertension, asthma/COPD, cognitive impairment/dementia.

Our medical team consists of about 20 doctors, general practitioners, AT, BT, ST doctors, and temporary licensed doctors.

Job Responsibilities:

Standard job responsibilities for a General Practitioner at a health center.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who is a specialist in general medicine. We would like you to have an interest in supervising students, AT, BT, and ST doctors. As the responsible supervisor, you will include one hour of scheduled supervision per week for the doctors you supervise. You will be responsible for your own patient list. If you are interested in BVC, it can be included in the assignment. There is an opportunity to work from home a few days a week if interested.

Employment Type:

Permanent employment. Monday - Friday, full-time or possibly part-time. We apply flexible working hours. Start date by agreement. A probationary period may be used.

  • background checks will be applied before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
  • employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
  • in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
