As our new Sales Engineer, you will play a central role in strengthening and developing our offering within wood processing in the timber industry. You will represent our European agencies and work closely with customers such as pallet manufacturers, planing mills, component manufacturers, and other processing industries. The products in focus are scanning and cutting equipment for the processing industry. This role combines technology, business development, and customer relations with a high degree of personal responsibility.
Your main responsibilities
- Drive sales and provide qualified advice on machines for processing – always with the customer's needs in focus and in close collaboration with our suppliers.
- Lead investment projects from idea to installation: investment calculations, technical documentation, quotes, timelines, and coordination.
- Support and develop after-sales and spare parts sales.
- Conduct customer visits and build long-term relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Travel in Europe with customers for supplier visits and technical reviews.
- Actively contribute to our corporate strategy and the development of the processing segment.
You will report directly to the CEO and become part of our dedicated sales team with six sales engineers. The role involves frequent business travel, primarily in Sweden and Norway but also within Europe.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who thrives in an independent role and is driven by creating business and building relationships. You are unpretentious, curious, and have an easy time gaining trust.
We would like you to have:
- Experience in B2B sales, preferably within machinery, technology, or industrial solutions, which will be advantageous.
- Good communication skills in Swedish and English. Knowledge of German or Italian is a plus.
- A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel extensively for work.
Personal qualities are highly valued – we are looking for the right person, not just the right CV.
