JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Come and work in a rewarding, developing, and fun job, together with our wonderful team in Kalmar Municipality's home care services. We are now looking for nursing assistants and specialist nursing assistants for the home care pool and units within home care.

Through a process-oriented approach, we create clear structures and well-functioning flows in the operations, with the care recipient in focus. We work in interdisciplinary teams where we want you to be involved, contribute your perspectives, and help influence and improve our working methods.

As a nursing assistant in home care, your main tasks are to encourage, support, and motivate. The work includes health and medical care tasks delegated by licensed personnel. We are looking for someone who is forward-thinking and has a positive attitude towards performing these tasks with commitment and responsibility.

As a nursing assistant in the pool, the above tasks apply, with the addition that you will cover for regular staff during their absence and during temporary work peaks within home care. The work is scheduled during the day and evening according to a roster and involves varying workplaces, which requires flexibility and the ability to thrive in a changing and dynamic work environment.

Quality work permeates our operations and is an important part of how we create value for the care recipient. Through continuous improvements and learning in everyday life, we develop quality together. You have a commendable and health-promoting approach and are actively driving in daily work. You inspire and support colleagues in utilizing the resources and opportunities of the care recipient and their representatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with certification from the National Board of Health and Welfare. Experience in elderly care and knowledge of delegated health and medical care tasks is an advantage.

You have good communication skills in both speech and writing, are easy to collaborate with, and can quickly build good relationships with both colleagues and care recipients. We are looking for someone who is positive, responsible, has good teamwork skills, and can adapt to new circumstances. A driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are required for pool work and otherwise advantageous.

We are undergoing digital development, which requires good computer skills. Being able to work in different systems is important for thriving in the position.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
