About the position

Perido is now looking for a Senior Network Architect for Shibuya, a Swedish tech company that delivers secure IT solutions with local anchoring. With its expertise in IT operations, cloud, security, and support, they help businesses grow. At Shibuya, you will be part of an organization with high technical competence and a strong collaborative climate. The position is based in Solna, where you are initially expected to be on-site during the training period. Once you are settled in the role, there is an opportunity to work remotely up to three days a week.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the entire delivery within Data Center Interconnect (DCI) and DWDM – from needs analysis and technical design to installation, operation, and further development. You will work closely with both customers and manufacturers and have overall responsibility for technical solutions throughout the entire lifecycle.

The position also includes technical account management (TAM) for a limited number of customers where you ensure stable operations, high quality, and long-term development. The role can be adapted to be more technology-oriented or more pre-sales focused depending on your profile.

Main responsibilities:

• Technical pre-sales for larger organizations
• Preparation of RFI/RFP/RFQ
• Design and presentation of DWDM solutions
• Project planning and implementation
• Installation and commissioning
• Incident management and troubleshooting in dialogue with TAC
• System and solution documentation
• Preparation of BoM and quality assurance of component selection

Your qualities

We are looking for a senior and self-driven person who thrives in a stable and long-term role. You work in a structured manner, take responsibility for your deliveries, and drive your tasks forward with a methodical approach. You have good analytical skills, are comfortable with complex technical materials, and find it easy to communicate with both technical specialists and decision-makers. You enjoy collaborating with others but are equally comfortable working independently and proactively.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in DWDM/DCI environments
• Good knowledge of SAN, Fibre Channel, and Ethernet
• Understanding of complex and dynamic network environments
• Experience with administrative tools (Office, SharePoint)
• Swedish citizenship
• Fluent in Swedish and English

Meritorious:

• Post-secondary technical education
• Extensive customer-facing experience in networking/architecture
• Experience working with IT managers and technical decision-makers
• Experience with optical networks and DWDM architecture
• Background from larger DWDM manufacturers
• Knowledge of Visio

Scope and start date

Full-time, consultancy assignment for 6 months through Perido, with the ambition to be hired by the client thereafter. Start date according to agreement.
