Preschool and Grade 3 Teacher Wanted

We have several colleagues going on parental leave, and therefore we are looking for someone interested in working in preschool or in grade 3. We have a total of three positions, all temporary for one school year.

We have approximately 830 students from preschool to grade nine. Good relationships are a hallmark of our school, and we always start from a place of good intentions. We focus on clear leadership in the classroom and clear structures for a good working environment for everyone. Our school has high qualifications among our teachers and good academic results among our students. We have a strong student health team with various competencies and good knowledge of how we can help students in need of special support. We work with collegial learning and use action research as a tool to develop our teaching.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher, you will plan, implement, and follow up on your teaching based on the curriculum, Lgr22. You will monitor the individual development and learning of your students. It is important to us that every student receives support, encouragement, and opportunities to develop in a joyful, challenging, and educational environment. You will work closely with other teachers in the team as well as with leisure staff who are also present in the classroom.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a teaching degree with a focus on grades F-3, or you are currently studying and will graduate by summer. If you are applying for a position in preschool, you may also be a preschool teacher. It is very beneficial if you have experience teaching based on the current curriculum.
