The Health and Care Administration provides service, support, care, and assistance to the elderly and people with disabilities, and is responsible for regulatory activities according to applicable legislation. The administration operates within elderly care, LSS, social psychiatry, health care, family support, and regulatory activities. All work is performed with the resident in focus based on the value foundation: respect, participation, trust, and safety. Together, we make each other better and work to achieve the Health and Care Administration's vision of quality of life throughout life.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a companion for a 12-year-old boy with autism who needs a safe and present adult by his side when he goes out for activities. He benefits from clarity, calmness, and someone who genuinely wants to share his interests, whether it involves Muay Thai, swimming, or other sports.

As a companion, you will work independently but always in close dialogue with the boy and his guardians. You are there as a support that enables him to participate in activities that enhance both his self-confidence and joy. The most important thing is that you meet him where he is, with respect and curiosity.

The assignment is not care-related. It is about being a stable, safe, and positive adult with whom he can feel comfortable, someone who helps him take his place in the world on his own terms.

The assignment is scheduled for Thursday evenings around 5 PM - 8 PM, totaling approximately 12 hours per month.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is calm and reliable, who easily creates connections and enjoys social situations.

We place great importance on personal suitability but would also like you to have experience with children with disabilities in some form.
