Job Responsibilities

Vallmogården is a special accommodation, one of the departments is a short-term accommodation. It is located in Svenstavik, close to nature and within walking distance to shops and bus stops. A special accommodation is a form of housing for elderly individuals who have extensive needs for care and support around the clock and can no longer live in their own homes. Care staff are available at the accommodations in the municipality around the clock, with a rehabilitative approach to daily living. The work should be permeated by a holistic view, respect, and engagement.

As a nursing assistant with us at Vallmogården, you will be part of a competent workgroup consisting of caregivers and nursing assistants. You will work to provide care and social support to our residents and users who need help to manage their daily lives. Our work is based on the individual's needs and wishes, where dialogue and collaboration are important tools to achieve high-quality care and support. By working with us, you contribute to creating an environment for the individual characterized by community, togetherness, participation, and activity.

Your tasks include helping people with, for example: hygiene, dressing, and cleaning, as well as providing support during meals. Tasks delegated by licensed health and medical personnel may also occur. Collaboration is a very important part of your workday, and you will work together with your closest colleagues and health and medical personnel for the individual. Your tasks also include documentation and contact with relatives.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and has previous experience working in elderly care and/or healthcare. Communication and documentation are important tools in the work, which requires you to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Knowledge and experience in the systems Viva, Appva, and Tes are meritorious.

Bergs Municipality is a Sámi administrative municipality, and we therefore consider it meritorious if you have knowledge of the South Sámi language and culture.
