JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you want to help shape the future of municipal primary care?

We are looking for a driven and confident MAS who wants to take a key role in our work to create patient-safe, modern, and person-centered care. With us, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact both strategically and operationally and be a central force in the development of Good and Close Care.

Your workplace is within Health and Care, which has about 400 employees and is divided into three departments: elderly care, functional support, and preventive and resource services. You will be part of the management team of the area manager together with department heads, SAS, and development leaders. In the spring, we will also recruit a MAR.

As MAS, you are responsible for ensuring that our patients receive safe, secure, and appropriate care. You lead and develop patient safety work, ensure that laws and guidelines are followed, and serve as an important support for the operations. You work closely with managers, employees, and external partners and contribute to creating care that maintains high quality every day.

In this role, you will work broadly to develop and follow up on routines, quality, and patient safety within municipal primary care. You will conduct incident analyses, lex Maria reports, and documentation reviews, and drive continuous improvement work while keeping yourself updated on new findings and changing legal requirements. You will act as an advisory expert in health care and patient safety issues and participate in collaboration with the region and other municipalities to strengthen the overall care and development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with several years of experience in municipal health and medical care and who has good knowledge of relevant legislation and experience in interpreting and implementing it in practice. You have experience in patient safety work and preferably also in development or management roles. As a person, you are analytical, communicative with pedagogical skills, structured, and confident in your profession. You have a B driver's license (manual) and good IT skills and thrive in a role where you can combine expert knowledge with development work.
