Your Mission
As an employee with us, you will be part of the municipality's initiative to prevent violence in close relationships.
Trygghetens hus is a new unit that will be organized together with SBC. The mission involves supporting and guiding individuals' lifestyle changes with a focus on preventing violence in close relationships. The tasks include motivational, supportive, and guiding conversations with both victims and perpetrators of violence, as well as conducting initial risk assessments. You will act as a guide between various agencies (police, social services, healthcare, women's shelters, etc.) to offer coordinated support around the individual.
The work will be offered through a flexible and more accessible approach in collaboration with internal and external partners, primarily in cooperation with the Police Authority. The support offered through Trygghetens hus Söderhamn focuses on reducing victimization, increasing support, protection, and assistance.
Workplace Description
Söderhamn Municipality is now moving forward by opening a new unit, Trygghetens hus, in the work to prevent violence in close relationships. This is to better meet the needs in the municipality and the intentions of the new Social Services Act while following the changing conditions for support to victims and perpetrators at both local and national levels. Your Competence
Qualifications and Personal Attributes
To be considered for the position, you should have one of the following qualifications: social worker, behavioral scientist, treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You should have experience working with the target group.
Training in FREDA, MI (Motivational Interviewing), and completed online training on violence in close relationships is an advantage for the position.
As a person, you are secure and stable, have good self-awareness, and a well-developed ability to create professional and trusting relationships. You are positive, solution-oriented, and flexible, and you enjoy working in a changing environment.
You have good collaboration skills and can contribute to good relationships through openness and dialogue, both within your own unit and in collaboration with external partners. Furthermore, you have good analytical skills, see the big picture, and can handle and solve complex issues and problems while demonstrating high personal maturity.
It is an advantage if you have previous experience in treatment work within the social sector and knowledge and training in attachment theory.
Since the position involves regular contact with various authorities, it is a requirement that you are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
A driver's license (B) is a requirement for the position.
