We are now looking for a group manager for a group home for LSS in Jakobsberg, Sångvägens group home 1st floor is aimed at adults who fall under LSS person group 1, for example, those with diagnoses within the autism spectrum or intellectual disabilities. We offer leadership programs and several benefits.

About Sångvägens group home 1st floor Sångvägens group home is a residence for adults/elderly people with various disabilities. The unit is operated according to LSS, by Nytida for Järfälla Municipality since 2019. The unit is located in Jakobsberg, close to the center, train, and bus. Green areas and pleasant excursion destinations, e.g., the stable, are within a short walking distance.

Everyone lives in their own apartments. There is a shared kitchen and common room, as well as a large balcony where one can enjoy the summer months and plant various herbs and flowers. In the common areas, people socialize, play games, have read-aloud sessions, do crafts, listen to music, dance, have movie nights, and much more.

On holidays, those who wish can participate in a communal dinner. Together, they cook, set the table nicely, and eat together. Everyone can choose whether they want to sit together or stay in their own space.

In the group home, we have room for 5 people. They have different disabilities, mild intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum, with various additional disabilities. Several use mobility aids/wheelchairs, and we use alternative communication. They live in their own apartments. Everyone has daily activities according to individual needs.

About the role As a group manager, you work both in the operation and administratively. This means that you are a role model for your employees and through your strong commitment, you create a good working atmosphere in the group every day. You provide conditions for your workgroup to maintain good relationships with the unit's clients and relatives. This is done by being present and supportive, answering questions, leading, giving feedback, and confirming your employees in their daily work. You have personnel and planning responsibility for your workgroup and are involved in developing and quality assuring the operation in accordance with Nytida's educational framework. As a Group Manager, you report to the operations manager.

Your experience and knowledge You have a high school education in care and social services and experience with the target group. You speak and write fluent Swedish. It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience of various forms of cognitive support, low-arousal responses, and experience in leadership.

You have a clear leadership personality and enjoy helping people in your group grow and develop in their professional roles. As a person, you are independent, unpretentious, and cooperative. You have the will and ability to steer and follow up on operations based on the company's goals and financial frameworks. You are proactive and attentive to the needs of the clients and have a natural respect for other people.
