Warehouse Administrator with a Focus on Food

The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. RESPONSIBILITIES

As a warehouse administrator with a focus on food, you and your colleagues will provide an important support function for the rest of the operations. The work offers varied tasks, both administrative and physically demanding. You will be responsible for receiving and inspecting goods for the food storage. Furthermore, sorting and delivering food and prepared meals to the remand and prison facilities, with delivery taking place via forklift. You will also work with self-control programs according to HACCP. We actively work with self-management and developing our offerings to our customers, so you will support the prison and remand center in self-management issues, which, in addition to contact with colleagues, may involve client contact.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is calm, stable, and secure in stressful situations. In your interactions, it is important that you are attentive and accommodating. You have a good ability to plan and structure your work and take responsibility for your tasks and the operations. You work well with others, are clear, and relate to others smoothly. In your role, you contribute to the whole and take responsibility for providing solutions and developing the operations together with us.

There will be heavy lifting, and the work can be physically demanding, with some tasks performed in cold storage and freezer rooms. You need to have flexibility to handle rapid changes and to reorganize your day.

We are looking for someone who has

• Completed upper secondary education or other education combined with experience deemed relevant by the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills

It is a merit if you have

• Restaurant or large-scale catering education, Food education
• Work experience in food handling or warehouse management
• Experience with self-control
• Forklift license
• Other experiences that can be assessed as relevant for the position
