About the Role

We continue to grow and now need to expand with additional security guards for our assignments in Västerås and Västmanland. We are therefore looking for trained security guards for both our stationary assignments, day and night, as well as for our mobile assignments where central monitoring, events, and other varied tasks occur. We would like you to have some experience in the security industry as we also have assignments in demanding and challenging environments. Several positions available, both full-time, part-time, day and night. Even if you are interested in working extra, we welcome your application. As a security guard, you have a genuine desire to build good relationships and respect everyone, regardless of background. Your main task is to make people feel safe in their daily lives.

You do this by being present in public places, and hopefully, it has a calming effect, but if the situation requires it, you are expected to act. As a security guard, you are employed by Securitas but work under the police authority's regulations.

The position suits you if you enjoy working with people and want to make a significant contribution to society. At the office in Västerås, we have a strong community and a wide range of experience among our colleagues that enables us to handle most situations. Requirements

Qualifications

We believe you are a stable and stress-resistant person who can handle pressure and adversity well. You are humble, team-oriented, and service-minded in your interactions with the public, but you also understand the responsibility of your role and can remain objective when required. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

• You are a trained security guard with an approved license
• You have passing grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Driver's license B
