About the Role

As a Data Warehouse Specialist, you will be part of IT & Digitalization at Connecting Stockholm and work alongside competent and engaged colleagues who are responsible for the further development and management of the organization’s analytics platform. The team works both with daily management and long-term development, driving projects related to the organization’s needs for monitoring, data management, and analysis. The role involves proactively working on the design, development, and implementation of BI solutions, where robustness, performance, and quality are central principles.

Main Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing Data Warehouse solutions and data platforms that support the organization’s needs. The work includes, among other things:

  • Designing, documenting, building, and optimizing data flows and data models to ensure high quality, stability, and performance
  • Working with data modeling and established methods for modern data warehouse architecture
  • Ensuring data quality, validation, governance, and traceability throughout the data flow
  • Managing data from multiple source systems and creating a coherent, structured, and reliable flow
  • Collaborating with developers, analysts, and business representatives to translate needs into technical solutions
  • Managing incidents, troubleshooting data flows, and analyzing root causes

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is meticulous and quality-conscious, and who enjoys working independently and taking responsibility for planning and delivery. You understand the organization’s needs and translate them into sustainable and usable solutions. You are curious, keep up with developments in data platforms, and want to continuously improve both working methods and technical solutions. Furthermore, you are unpretentious and collaborative, eager to share your knowledge and contribute to a positive team culture. To succeed in this role, you have:

  • Several years of experience in Data Warehouse development and working with data platforms in complex environments
  • Very good knowledge of MS SQL and other database technologies (e.g., Azure SQL, Synapse, or equivalent)
  • Experience in data modeling and design of data warehouses according to established methods
  • Experience with SSIS
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, or other cloud-based tools
  • Good documentation skills and experience in creating clear and structured technical documentation
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in designing and leading the implementation of advanced data and analytics solutions
  • Experience with metadata management tools
  • Some experience with BI tools (Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau) and understanding of the consumption layer
  • Understanding of data security, GDPR, access models, and permission management in data platforms

  • Scope: Full-time, 100%.
  • Start date: By agreement.
  • Location: Stockholm
