Technician for the Consultation Team at the Assistive Technology Center in Uddevalla

We are now looking for a technician to join our consultation team at the Assistive Technology Center in Uddevalla.

As a technician within the consultation team, you will work with individualized solutions when existing assistive devices do not meet the patient's specific needs. We warmly welcome your application by March 5!

Responsibilities

As a technician, you will be part of our consultation team where you, together with other technicians and assistive technology consultants, have the mission to:

• support healthcare providers in the adaptation of assistive devices, such as wheelchairs, electric wheelchairs, walkers, and devices for showering and hygiene.
• participate in trials where you meet patients and prescribers, make adjustments and customizations, as well as some programming of these devices.
• documentation and other administration are a natural part of the assignment.

To provide good service in the role of technician, you need to:

• be creative, solution-oriented, and accustomed to independently solving technical problems
• have a good demeanor, personal maturity, and high integrity
• work well with others
• have good pedagogical skills and be communicative
• be flexible and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• be responsible and have organizational skills to ensure high quality and patient safety.

We are looking for someone with a vocational technical high school education or equivalent experience that provides technical knowledge. You should have good physical ability and ergonomic work habits as the job may involve heavy lifting. Furthermore, you should communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written, have good computer skills, and be quick to learn new digital systems. A valid B driver's license and good driving experience, preferably with light trucks, are required for the position.

We work in the business system Sesam2, and previous experience with this is an advantage.

Other Information

The position is a permanent employment with placement at the Assistive Technology Center in Uddevalla. On-call duty is included in the position.
