Job Description

Your work as a warehouse worker/technician in delivery at the Assistive Technology Center is about patient safety and good service. You contribute with your ability to collaborate and technical skills to provide our customers with assistive devices.

In this ad, we are looking for employees for three different departments at the Assistive Technology Center:

• Reconditioning, that is, restoring assistive devices for reuse.
• Warehouse management, inventory administration, and picking assistive devices.
• Delivery and collection of assistive devices from customers and patients' homes.

The distribution to the different departments is based on your skills and experiences. You work both independently and together with colleagues to solve the tasks at hand each day.

To provide good service in the role of technician, you need to:

• have a good attitude and be service-oriented
• work well with others
• enjoy adapting based on what happens
• be responsible and meticulous to ensure quality and high safety

We are looking for someone with a completed high school education or an ongoing high school education where you are in your final year. If you are interested in working with reconditioning, it is advantageous if you have a completed or ongoing technical high school education. You need to be 18 years old to work with us. Since you will have many contacts in your work, it is important that you can communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written. You have good computer skills and are used to working in various IT systems. Furthermore, you have good physical ability and an ergonomic working method as you will be walking and standing for large parts of your workday and possibly lifting heavy items. You have a B driver's license and good driving experience.

Experience with assistive devices or the business system Sesam is an advantage.

About the Assistive Technology Center

The Assistive Technology Center is part of the Supply Management Administration within the Västra Götaland Region and is a competence and logistics center for the 49 municipalities, as well as the Västra Götaland Region's own operations. We are located in Borås, Mölndal, Skövde, and Uddevalla.

Our service offerings are based on the needs of healthcare providers for both in-depth knowledge in the field of assistive devices and various service offerings to support the healthcare chain. We handle purchasing, inventory management, distribution, as well as service and maintenance of assistive device articles. We also assist prescribers with, among other things, assistive device counseling, individual testing, adaptations/special adaptations, as well as study visits and training.
