Do you want to create scents, flavors, and experiences every day that improve our customers' everyday lives? We are now looking for a trained baker/pastry chef who wants to be part of our bakery and pastry team at ICA Maxi Torslanda.

About the role

As a baker with us, you will be an important part of a team of about five people. Together, you will create a wide and appreciated range of bakery and pastry products – everything from bread and buns to cakes, pastries, and catering. You will work closely with both colleagues and customers and help develop our offerings moving forward.

Your tasks

• Bake bread, coffee bread, and pastry items

• Manufacture cakes and pastries

• Contribute to production for both the store and catering

• Provide excellent service to customers

• Be involved in developing and renewing our product range

Requirements and qualifications:

• Trained baker or pastry chef
• You should have a good sense of customer service, be efficient, and open to change.
• You are self-driven but enjoy working in a team.
• Can be on-site ready to start the shift at 05:00
• Experience from a bakery in the grocery retail sector is an advantage but not a requirement

Employment type: Permanent - six months probationary period applies

Scope: approx. 30h/week with very good chances to work more.

Start date: by agreement

Salary: According to the Handels collective agreement
