About the position

We are now looking for an instrumentation technician with an interest in engine development, particularly focusing on service, support, and preventive maintenance. The service function is a central part of the development and testing of engines within both the industrial and marine segments at Volvo Penta. You will be part of an engaged service team responsible for service, support, calibration, and maintenance of measuring equipment in our test rooms. The role is varied and combines practical work with technical problem-solving.

Your main responsibilities

As an instrumentation technician, you will work with: • Calibrating and troubleshooting instruments and equipment in a test room environment • Performing particle weighing • Repairing and manufacturing wiring for prototype engines, instruments, and engine test rooms • Participating in and ensuring preventive maintenance actions • Working proactively to create stable and reliable test environments

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with experience in instrumentation, calibration, and measurement technology. You have likely worked in a similar role before and have education in electrical engineering, instrumentation, or a corresponding technical field.
