Bakery Manager for New Stora Coop Kållered

We are opening a brand new store and are now in the process of establishing our fantastic staff at the New Stora Coop Kållered. The store will have a good assortment and a clear ecological profile. We will offer good accessibility for our customers as we look forward to creating the best shopping experience! We are making a major investment in fresh produce with our own bakery where we bake bread from scratch in a stone oven, we have both a manual fish department and a deli, a hot kitchen where we prepare our own food, and a café.

We are looking for a Bakery Manager who is efficient and responsible and wants to join us on our journey in our new store and take our Bakery to new heights. We want you to be innovative and creative in your way of working. We see that you have a strong commitment and that you are passionate about the idea of giving customers that little extra together with your colleagues.

As the bakery manager for our scratch bakery, you will be responsible for the department and ensure that we offer our customers a fresh and inviting section every day of the week. You and your team will work together to create additional sales and inspire customers to joyful purchases through a well-planned department with high sales pressure. Your tasks will also include everything from bread production from scratch to working with the store's catering operations, baking cakes & cookies. It is important that you are creative and have an eye for aesthetics, have a sense for trends and news to continuously maximize sales in combination with our customers' unique wishes.

In your role, you will be responsible for orders and supplier contacts as well as the department's staff and scheduling. You will monitor sales against budget, actively work to reduce physical damage and waste, and ensure that the department has clear routines and guidelines.

You will be the face of the store and professionally meet our customers with the best service while spreading joy and energy. It is important for us that you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and feel comfortable handling stressful situations. We see that you have relevant education as a baker, but it is also advantageous if you have previous experience in retail within the grocery sector. We place great importance on personal suitability.

The positions are permanent employment at 36 hours/week, with immediate start or according to agreement. We apply a probationary period. Working hours vary and include both day and evening shifts as well as weekends. Recruitment is ongoing, and positions may be filled before the application deadline.
