Deputy Sales Leader for the Bakery
ICA Kvantum in Skövde is a family business with about 70 employees. We continuously strive to be Skövde's best grocery store for those who want to live a little better.
We have now completed our renovation of the entire store and are ready to take the next step towards becoming Skaraborg's most modern grocery store with a focus on food and meal solutions.
As a deputy sales leader with us, you will be responsible for the bakery and soft bread regarding production, economics, operations, purchasing, product development, and inspiration together with your immediate supervisor, the bakery sales leader.
Job Responsibilities:
You will be involved in ensuring that daily production runs smoothly and that every day, every week, you inspire customers with the assortment, inspiration, news, and seasonal offerings from the bakery.
An important part of the job is to work with the right communication, price experiences, and to create a unified structure in the department. Your responsibilities, together with your immediate supervisor, include planning, establishing and anchoring routines, sales steering, sales planning, maintaining sales pressure in the department, and constantly working to keep the department fronted, clean, and inspiring.
Every week, you will participate in orders and campaigns, and the position includes working towards an established budget together with the sales leader.
Your work also includes stepping in as the sharp sales leader for the bakery and soft bread when the Sales Leader is not present.
The position primarily involves production, customer service, and to some extent administrative work. The position includes weekdays and weekends.
We are looking for someone who:
- has a burning interest in food, bread, and pastries
- loves customer contact and customer service.
- wants to help create and develop the bakery of the future
- has very good analytical skills and computer knowledge.
- has very good economic knowledge.
- has very good leadership qualities.
- is physically fit as heavy lifting occurs daily.
We are looking for you who have initiative and strong positive energy. You should be a role model. It is important to see the customer's needs and joyfully provide the best customer service. You should be able to handle stressful situations and have the ability to see the big picture in your work. You should be outgoing, enjoy leading a group but also be able to work independently.
You should also be structured and have a good sense of order, enjoy development, and be engaged, with a focus on sales, operations, and creating good profitability.
Qualifications:
- Experience from bakery/confectionery/grocery trade
- Good knowledge of store economics
- Is structured and has a good quality awareness.
As a deputy sales leader, you will report to the sales leader for the department.
The position is about 95% of a full-time position. We apply permanent employment with an initial probationary period of 6 months. The start date for the position is immediate or as agreed. Salary according to agreement.
