About us

We at the Social and Care Office work with everything from adoption issues to end-of-life care. Our operations and organizational culture are characterized by our values regarding participation, competence, trust, and respect. Guldvivan, which is part of the Social and Care Office, is a special housing for the elderly. The focus of the permanent places is both dementia and somatic care.

About the position

In the role of physiotherapist, you will be part of our multidisciplinary team, which besides you consists of nursing assistants, nurses, doctors, and occupational therapists. Together, you will work according to a function-preserving approach. Your tasks include:

• Assessment of mobility
• Establishing plans in the journal system and informing and guiding the nursing staff about these
• Guiding the nursing staff in physiotherapeutic aspects of daily activities
• Conducting inventory and functional control of medical technical products according to applicable routines
• Treatment interventions based on your profession
• Conducting physical activities both individually and in groups
• Actively participating in team meetings and being responsible for fall risk rounds with the rest of the team.

You will have a particularly close collaboration with the occupational therapist at the residence and will also be part of a network with other physiotherapists and occupational therapists in the municipality.

The work is scheduled for weekdays, and there is an opportunity to influence the scheduling of working hours. Your placement is in central Upplands Väsby, but interventions in the municipality's other activities will occur as part of the work.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for someone who has:

• License as a physiotherapist
• At least two years of experience in the profession

As a person, you are structured and confident in yourself. You have a very good ability to independently plan, organize, and prioritize your tasks within your area. You also have the ability to create security and build trusting relationships with both residents, relatives, and colleagues. To fit into the role, you understand the importance of good collaboration.
