Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Test Lead with a strong background in payments, card, and banking-related systems for an international transformation initiative in finance. The role involves overall responsibility for test management during the launch of new products in a technically complex environment with multiple vendors and system dependencies. The assignment takes place in an international setting with several markets.

You will work closely with product teams, payment specialists, integration functions, and external vendors. Responsibilities include planning and executing functional tests, integration tests, and verification of payment flows. If necessary, you will also perform operational testing in advanced payment and banking systems.

You will develop and manage test plans, test cases, test data, and test strategy, as well as coordinate test activities between integration, payments, data management, external parties, and teams in other markets. The role also includes defect management, driving troubleshooting, and ensuring quick resolution of blocking issues. Status, risks, and progress are reported continuously to program management in a structured manner.

The assignment suits a self-driven test lead who is comfortable in complex organizations with many dependencies, a fast pace, and clear deliverables. The role requires both operational capability and a strategic holistic perspective, as well as a structured approach when multiple stakeholders are involved.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Documented experience in test management or senior testing roles within financial services focusing on card and payment solutions
• In-depth knowledge of how payment flows work, including settlement and clearing, as well as an understanding of operational impact
• Experience working with testing in technically complex system landscapes and in collaboration with external parties
