JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a social pedagogue focusing on the middle school level, you play a central role in creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment. Your work focuses on strengthening students' social and emotional development and promoting well-being and good relationships. You provide support to students who need help with social or emotional challenges, serve as an adult role model, and support students both during lessons and breaks. An important part of the work is to manage conflicts and help students solve problems constructively.

You collaborate closely with teachers, the student health team, and guardians to create a comprehensive picture of the student's situation and identify needs. This may involve participating in development talks and other meetings, as well as contributing to the school's overall work with students' well-being.

Preventive measures are a central part of the position. You plan and implement activities that strengthen the school's core values and contribute to a positive school environment. This may involve leading theme days, core value activities, and anti-bullying projects.

The work also involves documenting and following up on interventions made for students. You are an important part of the school's systematic quality work related to social interventions, where you contribute your expertise and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Formal qualifications

Degree as a social pedagogue or other equivalent education.
