What We Do and Want

Tyresö Gymnasium is in an exciting period where much is happening and developing.

In the autumn of 2025, the social science and economic programs were restarted with good demand. Additionally, the school offers vocational programs (hairdressing, styling, automotive, electrical engineering, IT, sales and service, and healthcare programs). Tyresö Gymnasium also has introductory programs and a special education program in the electrical and energy program with a focus on computer and communication technology aimed at students with an NPF diagnosis. The school also has an adapted gymnasium with three programs. Tyresö Gymnasium has many dedicated teachers and is perceived as calm and safe by both teachers and students.

About the Position

The position is a 100% temporary contract lasting until June 12, 2026, which includes teaching high school courses in English and social studies as well as being a substitute teacher. You will teach both theoretical and vocational programs. The start date is as soon as possible, and the position is a holiday service.

Who Are You?

You are a certified teacher in English and social studies and are passionate about working with young people. Having a few years of experience teaching at the high school level is an advantage. As a person, you are used to working independently but also have good collaborative skills. You are adept at meeting students' diverse needs and have the ability to build good relationships, both with students and colleagues. In the classroom, you have good leadership and structured teaching.
