Course Assistant at the Stockholm Business School

The Stockholm Business School (SBS) is one of the largest institutions at Stockholm University, with approximately 150 employees and around 3,500 students per academic year.

We conduct leading research and teaching in an open and innovative environment. Our activities focus on finance, management, marketing, and accounting.

Job Responsibilities

The role of course assistant includes planning, administration, and reporting of courses, as well as serving as a link between students and courses/teachers, course coordinators, and study administration. The work involves both external contacts with students and guest lecturers, as well as internal support for course and program leaders with planning, reporting, and other administrative tasks. The role also includes creatively building on experiences from previous course iterations and passing on personal experiences to future teaching assistants and course assistants.

Qualifications

Ongoing or recently completed university studies at the master's level in business administration with a focus on management. Strong knowledge in management, good computer skills, and proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, are essential. The work requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to independently drive and complete tasks within given deadlines, even during peak periods. Personal suitability, such as the ability to take initiative and solve problems constructively for the organization, will be highly valued.

About the Employment

The position is part-time (50% of full-time) and is limited to 12 months. Start date is negotiable.
