Ingenjörsvägen 61

Ingenjörsvägen 61 is a service residence with short-term accommodation. There are 10 apartments, of which one is for short-term stays. Solo work occurs. The staff group consists of 9 full-time employees, and we have on-call duty.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are a so-called RUA unit. RUA is an abbreviation for Results Unit with extended responsibility, which means we do not have a unit manager but work under a regional manager. These job responsibilities include administrative parts and responsibilities distributed among us in the group: documentation, finance, personnel responsibility, and schedule management. An important part is collaboration with habilitation, such as contact with nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and daily activities. The work can be mentally demanding at times. Our working hours are scheduled around the clock: day, evening, weekend, and on-call duty at the location.

Working as a care assistant at Ingenjörsvägen 61 means that we support and help users in their daily lives. Planning and implementation of activities are according to the implementation plan. Job responsibilities include personal care, medication management, escorting, shopping, cleaning, and laundry. The position also includes cooking in both the users' apartments and in the communal area. Together with each user, we want to create a meaningful and rewarding everyday life for them. The tasks vary based on the individual user's function, activity ability, needs, and individual conditions. Outbursts may occur. As staff, you work based on a professional and low-arousal approach.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a nursing assistant or has another education that the employer assesses as equivalent. Experience in similar activities is an advantage. Knowledge and experience with individuals with mental illnesses, low-arousal approach, and motivational interviewing are also advantageous, as well as clear pedagogical methods.

We place great importance on personal qualities: that you as a person are flexible, engaged, responsible, have a very good ability to collaborate, are professional in your manner, and have good self-awareness. Since documentation is a large and important part of our work, you need to master the Swedish language in both speech and writing. It is beneficial if you have computer skills.
