We are now looking for experienced System Engineers for a long-term consulting assignment within defense and maritime technology in Stockholm. The assignment is a central part of the development, further development, and verification of advanced naval combat systems. You will be part of a technically skilled team working with complex and security-classified systems where quality, accuracy, and collaboration are crucial for success. The role offers an opportunity to work in a high-tech environment with significant technical depth and a clear connection to critical societal functions.

As a System Engineer, you will work with requirements management, system design, and verification of installed equipment on board ships. You have a holistic perspective at the system level and are responsible for breaking down, analyzing, and managing system requirements as well as developing system and design descriptions. The role involves technical coordination and working with system architecture at an overarching level. You will carry out verification and validation of systems, including tests at the system level, as well as verifying installed equipment on board ships. The work is done in close collaboration with software and hardware teams as well as other technical specialists, which places high demands on structure, communication, and technical understanding in complex and safety-critical environments.

Mandatory requirements:

• 3–7 years of relevant experience

• Experience in requirements management within complex technical systems

• Experience in system design and development of system descriptions

• Practical experience in verification and testing at the system level

• Experience in software development

• Experience in technical leadership or technical coordination

• Experience from maritime systems and/or the defense industry

• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English

• A security clearance may be required before the start of the assignment
