Your role

As an information security coordinator, you are responsible for leading and coordinating the administration's overall systematic information security work. You are an important link between the business's needs and security requirements. You ensure that information security becomes something we do together – not just something we talk about.

The information security coordinator is responsible for compliance controls of information security and data protection and other current legislation within the administration. As an information security coordinator, you provide advice and support on issues of information security classification, requirements setting in procurement, and risk management. You are also responsible for training and continuing education on risk analyses to identify and manage information security risks and to ensure that employees have sufficient knowledge about information security. You lead the work to increase awareness, understanding, and knowledge of information security to establish a good information security culture and report annually to the administration's management group regarding information security. The City of Stockholm works according to PM3 and in accordance with ISO27001. The role is part of a working group consisting of, among others, IT strategists and IT and telecommunications coordinators.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for someone who has:

• several years of relevant work experience
• education in information security or equivalent work experience
• very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• a high security awareness, is self-driven, structured, and has the ability to plan and prioritize their own work.

Meritorious:

• several years of relevant work experience in information security work and information management, preferably process-oriented
