Your Mission

Nacka Municipality has twelve group and service housing units for adults according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). In these homes, our clients live in their own apartments with access to social interaction in shared spaces. As a summer temp, you will work to provide support and service to our clients in most aspects of their lives and daily routines. The focus is always on the clients and creating conditions for safety, personal development, and good living conditions. We adapt to the individual’s needs and respect each client’s wishes and desires. The work includes daily documentation and close collaboration with relatives.

Job Duties are Varied, for Example Support and Service in:

• Personal care, hygiene, and medication
• Shopping and cooking
• Daily and weekly planning
• Various leisure activities

Introduction will always take place before the intended work. We offer you the opportunity to work days, evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts, and you also have the option to choose your own degree of employment.

Your Experience

To be considered for the position, it is a requirement that you:

• Are at least 18 years old
• Have good language skills in Swedish (both spoken and written)
• Have good physical ability

It is an advantage if you have previous relevant experience and education in the field.

We are looking for someone with a pedagogical approach and understanding of how to work with the target group. Even though we work a lot in teams, you need to be able to work independently with clients and feel comfortable with the responsibilities it entails. You see it as a given to keep the client’s perspective in focus, and you are responsible and reliable.

As a temp, you will be employed by the Competence Supply Unit within Nacka Municipality, which is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the quality of staffing care personnel during short-term absences and monthly temporary positions. As a summer temp, you will work in one or more of our operations depending on how much you want to work this summer. We also offer you the opportunity to work as a substitute both before and after your summer position.

To create continuity for our clients, you should be able to work for a longer continuous period during June – September. You are also expected to attend an introduction in the spring.
