Within the Care and Welfare Administration, we have full-time as the norm. This means that all permanent employees essentially have a full-time position. More information about what this means for this position will be provided during an interview. Exceptions to the full-time norm are personal assistants.

About Vaksala Södra Home Care

Vaksala Södra Home Care provides home care services in Uppsala Municipality with about 60 employees. We are divided into 2 units and our base is at Snickargatan 2. The organization consists of 2 operational managers, 2 planners, 1 coordinator, and care staff.

Our mission is to help people according to decisions made by social workers. We have a socially important mission, which means that the work follows routines and clear guidelines for how services should be performed. Vaksala Södra Home Care is growing and is in an exciting phase of change, where we are developing the future of care.

Your Responsibilities

As a planner in home care, you are a key person in the organization, where the main focus is to ensure that our clients receive the right services at the right time. You will have contact with nurses, rehabilitation, social workers, relatives, and others. The workday can change quickly due to various unforeseen events where you need to rearrange schedules and manage staffing. The position includes home visits. When working as a planner, you also need to have a good understanding that home care is complex. To thrive in the role, you need to enjoy interacting with many people in different types of situations.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has at least a high school diploma and experience working administratively in the Office package. We consider it an advantage if you have knowledge of the Lifecare system and experience working in home care. It is also advantageous if you have work experience as a planner in home care. The job requires that you have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.

You need to be proactive and have the ability to initiate activities and drive them towards set goals. You take responsibility for creating results and ensuring that the work progresses. To succeed in the role, you need to be flexible and easily adapt to changing circumstances. You can quickly change your perspective and approach and see opportunities in changes rather than obstacles. We also value good collaboration skills. You work well with others, are attentive, and smooth in your way of relating to people. You listen, communicate, and handle conflicts constructively. You are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions. You have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions.
