Description

Botkyrka's major school investment, Eleonoraskolan, is the largest and most modern of its kind and a significant part of the municipality's extensive school initiative.

Eleonoraskolan will have a mathematical and scientific profile with a strong digital focus and an After School program that will be open in the afternoons for all students. The school will play a central role in educating and inspiring future generations in the municipality in a modern and innovative educational environment.

Eleonoraskolan will accommodate nearly 1,000 students from preschool to grade 9, as well as adapted primary school.

Responsibilities

We are now looking for an experienced woodworking and metalworking teacher who is passionate about developing education. If you are ready to be a leading force in the development of Eleonoraskolan and have a passion for creating inspiring learning environments, you may be just the person we are looking for.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a teaching license and subject competence for grades 3-9. You should have a good ability to use and instruct in digital tools and technology to support teaching. You should have experience integrating digital aids and technology to improve teaching and engage students. You have an active participation in the development of innovative digital teaching methods and an interest and willingness to understand and integrate AI technology into teaching in a meaningful way.

You take your role as a pedagogical leader in the classroom and have a distinct desire to be co-creative in the collegial process around teaching and students. You can differentiate teaching to meet the needs and conditions of different students, and you have an active collaboration with other teachers and school staff to create a cohesive and outstanding learning environment.

You are clear and effective in your communication with students, parents, and colleagues about teaching and learning. You have a willingness and ability to continuously participate in professional development and enhance your skills in digital pedagogy and technology, and you have an independent ability to seek out and implement new pedagogical methods and digital tools.

You show participation and commitment to the school's overall vision and goals with a focus on digitalization. You have very good language skills and master the Swedish language in both speech and writing, with a good ability to work on language development with students.
