Are you passionate about working with children and young people and want to help develop their various abilities? We at BILDA have a constant need to hire more qualified and unqualified substitutes. We are now looking for you who want to work as a subject teacher in Social Studies.

You will work at various schools throughout the Greater Stockholm area. The length of assignments varies from one to several days.

BILDA has a collective agreement, offers an introductory training, and ongoing support and dialogue with an assigned contact person at BILDA.

As a subject teacher in Social Studies, you are responsible for a whole class or part of a class. There is usually lesson planning available, but in cases where lesson planning is missing, it is important to be solution-oriented to quickly create a content-rich lesson for the students.

To work as a substitute, you need:

- A high school diploma or equivalent

- Previous work experience in schools

- To speak and write good Swedish

- Experience in leading/speaking in front of a group

It is advantageous if you:

- Have relevant education and/or knowledge to teach Social Studies

- Have experience in pedagogical work

To fit into the role of a substitute, we also believe that you have high social competence, are flexible, and are used to taking your own initiatives. You should also thrive in an energetic environment and be engaged and responsible in your work. A central aspect of the substitute role is also your strong interest in working with children and young people.
