We are looking for an experienced general practitioner who is seeking new challenges in their work, and perhaps we can match each other!

Närvården's health centers are trying new ways of working to adapt healthcare and develop the primary care of the future, and right now we need to strengthen our medical teams in Kolsva and Hallstahammar-Kolbäck. We welcome your application!

Job Responsibilities

As a general practitioner, your tasks will involve all phases of life. You will work both individually and as part of a team. You will be involved in improvement work taking place at the health center, and internal training for employees and colleagues is seen as a natural part of the role. We drive the work together, and it is important that you are flexible and driven to help us meet upcoming challenges with a person-centered approach and an expanded role in primary care.

About the Workplaces

The 11 region-run health centers and the Health Centers' Emergency Reception in Västmanland operate as an intrapreneurship with a board of officials and Region Västmanland as the owner. We have a common name, Närvården Västmanland, and we work together to provide our patients with the best primary care in the county. We continuously invest in the development of our workplaces to meet the future of primary care.

Närvården Kolsva is responsible for over 4500 registered patients, and the unit includes medical and nursing reception, counseling reception, maternal and child health care, and rehabilitation unit. The health center, which focuses on healthy habits for our patients, is an important resource and is present at the health center about once a week. The health center has a good reputation, tops patient surveys for several years in a row, shows excellent work environment surveys, and has low staff turnover.

Närvården Hallstahammar-Kolbäck is responsible for over 12400 registered patients, and the unit includes medical and nursing reception, counseling reception, maternal and child health care, and rehabilitation unit. We have a branch in Kolbäck that is open three days a week. A mix of different specialties gives us a breadth at the health center that is appreciated by both patients and employees. We are in an exciting development phase where our training doctors together with our specialists are a natural part of the development. We also aim to have more training doctors by 2026.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a general practitioner and seeking new challenges. You master the Swedish language in both speech and writing, and you preferably have experience with the Cosmic journal system that we use in our daily work.

To succeed in the role of general practitioner with us, we believe you have these personal qualities: personal maturity, ability to collaborate, flexibility, and communication skills. You are eager to develop and dare to think outside the box, seeing opportunities in changes.

Employment Conditions

1 position at Kolsva health center and 1 position at Hallstahammar-Kolbäck. Permanent full-time positions; other working hours can be discussed during the interview with the respective manager. Start date according to agreement.
