Licensed Physiotherapist at the Surgical Clinic's Rehabilitation Unit
Are you a licensed physiotherapist looking for a job where variation and development are at the center? With us, you will work in both inpatient and outpatient care across several clinics. This provides a stimulating and varied everyday life where you can influence both your work and your development.
Job Responsibilities
As a physiotherapist at the Surgical Clinic's rehabilitation unit, you will have a varied, exciting, and challenging job where no day is the same. You will work in both inpatient and outpatient care across several clinics, which gives you the opportunity to broaden your experiences and develop your competence in various areas. Your work involves assessing and treating patients based on their individual needs, initiating rehabilitation efforts, assessing the need for assistive devices, prescribing aids before discharge, and supervising students. You will largely plan and organize your work independently. You will be part of a team with other professionals where collaboration around the patient is central. In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence how the work is carried out and contribute new ideas and work methods together with your physiotherapy colleagues.
About the Workplace
The Surgical Clinic's Rehabilitation Unit is part of specialized care and is responsible for physiotherapeutic and occupational therapy interventions at several clinics, including surgery, oncology, infection, intensive care, women's health, vascular surgery, urology, and ear, nose, and throat care.
We have thirteen physiotherapists and five occupational therapists working together with our unit manager. We have close collaboration, share knowledge, and develop our working methods together. Our ambition is to provide the best possible care – with the patient at the center and a focus on continuous learning.
For us, it is important that you feel good and enjoy your job, which is why we offer you
- a tailored introduction program to help you feel secure in your professional role
- opportunities for professional development through internal training
- a workplace for all stages of life
- free training at our fully equipped gym
- wellness allowance of 3000 SEK/year

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a licensed physiotherapist and preferably has previous experience in the profession, ideally from similar operations. Experience working with patients within our area of responsibility is an advantage, as is previous education or experience in areas such as respiration and circulation, balance, urology, or infectious diseases. If you also have prescribing and webSesam training from the Assistive Technology Center, we see it as a benefit. Since we work in the journal systems Cosmic and Link, it is advantageous if you have knowledge of both systems. The role involves daily contact with patients, relatives, and colleagues, which makes good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form important.
We expect that you take responsibility and plan your work effectively, easily adapt to changes, and remain calm even in stressful situations. You take the initiative to drive activities forward and achieve results, communicate clearly, and can distinguish between personal and professional matters. Since the work is done in teamwork with colleagues across several clinics, it is important that you are attentive, flexible, and enjoy working together with others.
Employment Conditions
Permanent employment, full-time. Start date by agreement. The position includes on-call work during holidays where you work one of four consecutive days.
