At Byjorden City Healthcare Center, we are looking for a new specialist in general medicine to join our dedicated and competent team.

One of our valued colleagues is retiring, and we are therefore seeking someone who wants to continue developing our operations and contribute to safe and close care for our patients.

Byjorden City Healthcare Center is a well-established healthcare center located in the heart of Köping City, offering a wide range of primary care services to our patients. The facility has about 20 employees and approximately 8,300 listed patients.

We have a stable team consisting of doctors, district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, social workers, and psychotherapists. We also have a child health clinic (BVC) and a midwifery clinic, which provides us with a broad and cohesive care chain for our patients.

We run a modern primary care operation focused on continuity, quality, and good service. The work is characterized by close collaboration between professions, where each employee contributes their expertise to create a holistic approach to care. Job Responsibilities

You will work with standard tasks within maternal healthcare, including:

  • Pregnancy check-ups
  • Advice and support
  • Contraceptive counseling
  • Cervical screening

Qualifications

  • Licensed midwife with valid Swedish license
  • Experience working in midwifery clinics/BMM or primary care
  • Good knowledge of national guidelines in maternal healthcare and sexual and reproductive health
  • Prescription rights for contraceptives
