Job Responsibilities

As a district nurse/nurse with us, you will work with a wide variety of patients - from children to people at the end of life. The job involves encountering many different types of situations where you use both your medical knowledge and life experience. You will perform standard nursing tasks such as telephone advice, digital consultations via 1177, in-person visits, and disease prevention work. Improvement work is an important part of the daily routine.

You will work both independently and as part of a team. We run the health center together, and it is important that you are flexible and driven to help us meet upcoming challenges with person-centered care and an expanded role in primary care.

About the Workplace

The 11 region-run health centers in Västmanland and the health centers' emergency clinics in Västmanland are operated as an intrapreneurship with a board and Region Västmanland as the owner. We continuously invest in the development of our workplaces to meet the future of primary care.

Närvården Kolsva is a health center with a good reputation. We top patient surveys for several years in a row and show excellent work environment surveys and low staff turnover. The health center is conveniently located within a 45-60 minute commute from Västerås, Örebro, and Eskilstuna. There are free parking spaces directly adjacent to the health center.

We are responsible for over 4500 registered patients, and our unit includes consultations with doctors, district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, psychotherapists, and maternal and child health care. A health center focusing on healthy habits for our patients is an important resource and is present at the health center about once a week.

We want our employees to thrive, feel good, and develop with us at Närvården Kolsva, and therefore we strive to offer secure employment with good conditions in a pleasant workplace.
