Instructor in Pipe Network Technology – Utility Networks

📍 Location: Stockholm 📅 Start: Autumn semester 2026

Teknikakademin is looking for an instructor in pipe network technology and utility networks. This role is suitable for you who have broad expertise in water and sewage systems, operation and maintenance of utility networks, geotechnics, and digital control systems – and who wants to educate the future pipe network technicians.

You will plan, implement, and develop teaching in the installation, operation, maintenance, and renewal of water and sewage pipelines. Students will gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to independently work in critical water and sewage systems.

• Teach in water technology, pipe network technology, and utility network construction

• Convey knowledge about operation, maintenance, and renewal of water systems

• Introduce geotechnics and environmental impact related to water pipelines

• Teach digitalization, operational monitoring, and control systems

• Provide insight into quality and environmental management, work environment, and safety

• Supervise projects, practical tasks, and LIA-related assignments

• Quality assure and develop course materials

• Very good knowledge in water technology, pipe network technology, or construction

• Understanding of geotechnics, control and regulation technology, or digital operational monitoring

• Experience from work with installation, operation, or maintenance of water pipeline networks

• Relevant technical education and/or equivalent professional experience

• Good pedagogical skills

• Experience in work leadership within water or construction

• Experience in quality and environmental management

• Experience in project work or management of smaller projects

• Previous experience as an instructor/mentor
