The Logistics and Service business area has approximately 150 employees distributed across the locations Gävle, Sandviken, Hudiksvall, Bollnäs, Söderhamn, and Ljusdal. Logistics and Service has a regional responsibility for internal logistics and service delivery to and within Emergency Hospitals, Local Hospitals, and Health Centers within Region Gävleborg. The mission is to deliver services with the right content, quality, and scope. As a temporary service employee in a care-related environment, you will be employed through the Temporary Staffing of Region Gävleborg but placed with Logistics and Service.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work as a service employee in a care-related environment is varied, exciting, and educational. The tasks and working hours vary depending on which unit you work in. We apply shift work where night work may occur.

As a service employee in Transport Service, you will perform tasks such as:

• Receiving, handling, and registering goods
• Internal transport of e.g., goods, waste, textiles, and medications
• Minor relocation assignments
• Waste management from our environmental stations
• Transport of goods, waste, catering, and mail between Gävle Hospital and health centers/clinics outside the hospital area

As a service employee in Supply Management, you will perform tasks such as:

• Organizing and adapting storage cabinets
• Inventory, ordering, and replenishing units' storage cabinets
• Administering supply management
• Unpacking materials

As a service employee in Courier Service, you will perform tasks such as:

• Transporting patients within the hospital
• Transporting e.g., samples, medications, and blood
• Transporting sterile goods and cleaned goods
• Mail handling, sorting, administration, as well as picking up/dropping off mail and packages

QUALIFICATIONS

In the role of service employee with us, you need to be service-oriented and have the ability to take initiative. You should see opportunities and put the customer in focus. You are an empathetic person with good social skills and can read situations and act accordingly. Since the work is physically demanding, it is important that you appreciate a job in motion. Furthermore, you are communicative and work well with others.

In the role of service employee, you have:

• Completed high school education
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language both spoken and written
• Basic computer skills

We would like you to have:

• Forklift license with A-category and/or D1
• Completed ADR1.3 training
• Driving license B
