At CBRE, you have the opportunity to develop within the world's largest commercial real estate services firm, where your efforts truly make a difference. We are now looking for a Facilities Coordinator who thrives on structure, service, and keeping many threads running.
About the Role
As a Facilities Coordinator at CBRE, you will work closely with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure that property-related tasks and work orders are executed correctly and on time. The role falls under the Facilities Management area, where the focus is on the daily operations of a property portfolio and supporting Property Managers with repairs and investment plans.
Your Responsibilities
- Work with landlords, tenants, and service providers to ensure that all procedures, policies, and reporting formats are followed and understood.
- Receive and manage customer inquiries and collect work orders.
- Gather and report information to track performance and status.
- Manage and archive work orders, quotes, departmental files, and documents from vendors.
- Monitor activities outside the building, such as proper waste management and recycling.
- Follow instructions, brief correspondence, and PM, and ask clarifying questions as needed.
- Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, colleagues, and managers.
- Use existing processes to solve simpler problems, with limited scope for independent decision-making.
- Contribute through clearly defined tasks and processes according to established routines.
- Deliver your work according to given instructions and under close supervision.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED and up to 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
- Communication skills to exchange clear and simple information.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, e.g., Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and a curious, solution-oriented mindset.
- Basic math skills - e.g., calculating percentages, discounts, and markups.
