JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of operations technician with us, you will manage the daily operations of solid fuel facilities in Storvik and Järbo, as well as service of district heating plants in Sandviken, Järbo, and Storvik. You will analyze disturbances in the production facilities and propose preventive measures. In the role, you will perform preparation, planning, and prioritization of tasks to be executed.

Your duties include, among other things:

• Daily supervision and maintenance of the facilities for economic and safe operations.
• Handle acute operational disturbances together with other staff and any external parties.
• Develop and improve routines and instructions for processes and train colleagues as needed.

The position also includes supporting other groups within the business area when needed. These tasks consist, among other things, of replacing energy meters and maintaining the district heating network and its components.

The position involves standby duty every 4 weeks (every 8 weeks during summer) according to the standby schedule. The standby duty includes both production, distribution, and customer facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in the role, you need to have a technical education in operations with a focus on power and heat technology or equivalent education. Being a certified operations technician according to AFS 2023:11 is an advantage but not a requirement. You need to have good knowledge of the operation and maintenance of power/heat plants.

As a person, you are responsible and can perform risk analyses together with colleagues before carrying out tasks. You have good collaboration skills and are unpretentious.

A valid B driver's license is required for the position.
