Sandvikenhus offers attractive and secure housing and premises with high service. We develop and refine apartments, residential areas, and living environments. We plan and project manage, acquire, and manage properties and land.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a property caretaker who is engaged, meticulous, and service-oriented. In this role, you will contribute to keeping our properties in good condition and ensuring that our tenants feel comfortable in their homes. You will work both independently and together with colleagues in our team, and you will be an important part of delivering high quality in everything we do.

As a property caretaker with us, you have overall responsibility for the maintenance, supervision, and rounds of your assigned area. You work both preventively and reactively to ensure that our properties and outdoor environments are safe, well-maintained, and functional.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

• Performing maintenance, supervision, and rounds of properties and outdoor environments
• Being responsible for and performing repairs in and around common areas and ancillary buildings
• Handling error reports and carrying out corrective actions
• Working with external maintenance such as lawn mowing and mechanical snow removal
• Being part of the company's snow organization outside regular working hours
• Having daily contact with tenants and contributing to good relationships

You are an important representative of Sandvikenhus in the daily meetings with our tenants.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who enjoys the role of property caretaker and wants to help create safe and well-maintained living environments. You have experience in both internal and external property maintenance and feel confident in practical work.

You work in a structured and meticulous manner and have a professional approach in your interactions with tenants. You plan your work independently, are flexible when conditions change, and thrive in a role where you combine personal responsibility with close teamwork. With a solution-oriented approach, you ensure that tasks are carried out with quality and safety in focus.

In this role, you will work with ongoing maintenance and error reports, document your efforts digitally, and have daily contact with both colleagues and tenants. Therefore, it is important that you are comfortable with digital tools and have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Additional language skills are an advantage.

We expect you to have training as a property caretaker or equivalent work experience, as well as experience in practical maintenance and repair work. You have experience in mechanical snow removal and lawn mowing, and a B driver's license for manual transmission is a requirement.

It is an advantage if you have chainsaw and brushcutter certificates, training for work at heights, training for aerial work platforms, and experience in tree pruning. Experience from housing companies or similar operations is also viewed positively.
