Per Brahegymnasiet (PB) is a school that is innovative and forward-thinking, yet also rests on a historical foundation and cherishes its traditions. We care for one another and strive to create a workplace where we all thrive and develop. The school has about 1500 students and 150 staff members and is beautifully located in the heart of Jönköping. The upper secondary programs we offer are EK, ES, IB, NA, and SA. The school is organized into four principal areas with shared support functions.

Your new job

You will teach social studies and another subject. The position includes mentorship and participation in, and responsibility for, the tasks within program teams and pedagogical development groups. You will extensively plan and implement the educational activities together with colleagues and students. In this, you and your colleagues will encourage students to take their own initiatives and responsibility for their learning.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a teaching degree and teaching certification for upper secondary school in social studies and another subject. You find it easy to build relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. We place great importance on the ability to see opportunities for improvement and development of our operations, as well as a curiosity to test new working methods and approaches. Jönköping Municipality uses several learning platforms, so you are also expected to have experience and knowledge in handling ICT tools.

Good to know

The position is a temporary contract for the academic year 26/27.
