For the upcoming autumn term, we are now looking for several teachers for Withalaskolan – a school where we work to develop both knowledge and values among our students. Withalaskolan is located in the heart of Vetlanda, just a stone's throw from the center and Stortorget. About 700 students in grades 7–9 attend here, and we are about 80 staff members who together create an environment where all students have the opportunity to become their best selves.

The scope of the positions and subject combinations can be adjusted based on your teaching certification. You indicate which position or positions you are interested in.

At Withalaskolan, you will be part of an engaged teaching team where colleagues support, challenge, and share ideas with each other. You will be part of a work team where you together develop the teaching and create a learning environment that gives every student the opportunity to grow. In addition to the work team, you will also collaborate with colleagues in subject meetings to develop teaching within your specific subject.

You plan and implement teaching that provides students with the conditions to both develop and reach their goals. By adapting the teaching based on each student's needs, you create a learning environment where everyone has the opportunity to succeed. The role also includes documenting and following up on students' development as well as maintaining close communication with both students and guardians.

We work from a relational perspective, where we see each student, strengthen their trust in their own abilities, and inspire a lifelong love of learning. Equity is central – all students should have the same opportunity to succeed.

As a new teacher with us, you will receive a mentor, an experienced colleague who is there to support and provide guidance.
