About us

The Sandskogen Health Center in Ystad is a small health center that opened its doors in early 2025 and has grown very quickly. The health center is privately operated with a contract with Region Skåne. We are a small team taking care of about 3500 patients but are growing rapidly and need additional support. No day is the same with us, and we work closely together as a team where both laughter and collaboration are essential ingredients.

We believe that differences make us stronger – both as colleagues and as people. Here, high competence meets warmth and humor, and we support each other in both good times and bad.

At our health center, there is a laboratory staffed with nursing assistants (sometimes nurses) for both planned and emergency sampling. Our professional categories include: district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, doctors, physiotherapists, medical secretaries, and we have further collaboration with another entity regarding rehabilitation.

You will work independently with assessments, examinations, and teaching. We believe in learning in everyday life and offer joint assessments, consultation opportunities, and internal professional development that truly makes a difference.

About you

We are looking for you who are a licensed doctor ready to start your residency in general medicine – and who wants to do it in a place where both development and job satisfaction are at the center.

To be eligible for the position, you are a licensed doctor and qualified to start residency training within Region Skåne. Do you have previous experience from a health center? Great! But the most important thing for us is your attitude. We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference – with high quality, holistic thinking, and a patient focus.

We value teamwork, curiosity, and initiative. You are a person who is clear, trustworthy, and has an easy time structuring and prioritizing in a daily life that can sometimes be both fast-paced and exciting. You enjoy challenges, want to help develop our operations, and see collaboration with colleagues as a natural part of a good work life.
