Communicative Accounting Economist to HSB North West Skåne

About the Position

We are now looking for someone who wants to work with accounting in an outward-facing role in close collaboration both internally and with the company's clients. You will be part of an accounting team with ten colleagues who support each other with different competencies and great commitment. At HSB, you will have the opportunity to contribute to both your own and the organization's development in a stable and flexible operation with effective decision-making paths.

Responsibilities

In the role of economist, you will independently manage the financial administration for a number of clients, primarily housing cooperatives. You will act as their advisor on financial matters and maintain ongoing contact with each board. The tasks include, among other things:

• Annual financial statements and reports
• Budgets and multi-year forecasts
• VAT and taxes
• Calculations and analyses

Based on the needs of the business and your own interests, there is also the opportunity to participate in knowledge deepening and development projects. Since several clients have broken financial years, you will work with budgets and financial statements during both autumn and spring, creating a varied workflow. The role also involves presenting annual reports and budgets in a pedagogical manner, primarily for boards. As an economist with us, you will have a broad, outward-facing role with overall responsibility for clients' finances and accounting.

Suitable Background

We are looking for someone who either has a university degree in economics/accounting and experience in accounting, budget, and financial statement work. Alternatively, you have a post-secondary education with more extensive experience. You have good knowledge of Excel and are accustomed to working with various business systems. Previous experience in accounting for multiple companies or associations is an advantage, preferably from the real estate industry or from an accounting firm. Knowledge of VAT and taxes is a plus.

To thrive in the role, you are unpretentious, service-oriented, and skilled at building trusting relationships. You are communicative, pedagogical, and have strong analytical skills. You work in a structured manner, take responsibility, and drive your work independently while being a team player. You are happy to contribute to the development of effective processes without losing focus on quality and details. A driving license is a requirement, and you express yourself fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written.
