IT Technicians Wanted at the Service Administration

Are you interested in working with technology and service while developing in an exciting organization?

We are currently looking for several IT technicians for project employment for a fixed-term assignment that includes lifecycle management (LCM) for our users, both central administrations and hospitals within the region.

If you have a strong customer focus and enjoy providing professional service, then a job with us at the Service Administration might be right for you!

About Us

The Service and Support department at the Service Administration provides specialist competence in first and second level support.

We receive and handle incoming support calls and cases from core operations regarding incidents and service requests such as account permissions, e-service cards, and application and technical support. Our common mission is to resolve the case at the first contact. If it is a more complex case that cannot be resolved immediately, it is escalated to other groups.

Second line support also has specialized competence and handles administrative work in certain areas. We also have on-site support at other administrations and emergency hospitals.

About the Position

The position of IT support technician is a project employment, where the assignment runs from the date of employment until June 30, 2026. We value diversity and actively work for an even gender distribution. Therefore, we welcome female applicants.

You will be part of a large team that will provide support to users within the administration and emergency hospitals.

We are looking for several IT technicians within service and support at Danderyd Hospital, Karolinska Solna, Karolinska Huddinge, and Södersjukhuset. The work is primarily focused on lifecycle management, which means that the work takes place on-site (no hybrid work).

Our most important mission is to provide support and service that directly addresses end-users, where customer proximity is the common denominator.

Examples of tasks included in the role:

  • lifecycle management of computers
  • installations of computers and peripherals
  • installation of applications

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone with previous experience in IT support as an IT technician. You are quick to learn, flexible, and can quickly familiarize yourself with new systems and technologies. As a person, you are responsible, adaptable, stress-resistant, self-driven, and service-oriented, and you find it easy to collaborate with others. You are communicative and have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing, as communication with our users constitutes a large part of the job. You place great emphasis on quality and service tailored to our users' IT capabilities.

To be suitable for the role, you also have:

  • completed secondary education
  • at least 2 years of current work experience from service desk/helpdesk/IT support
  • good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

We consider it an advantage if you have experience with the case management system ServiceNow or Active Directory. Of course, you have an interest in our operations and the content of the position.

Our Offer

We offer a dynamic and varied work environment with the opportunity to work on different customer assignments, and you will be part of a supportive team and a culture that values collaboration and service. Within the unit, we actively work with internal development and training in service and support.

We have a collective agreement, which includes collective insurance, occupational pension, and the possibility of salary exchange. To help you take responsibility for your health, we offer wellness hours and wellness grants as well as subsidized healthcare in the form of free outpatient care. Here you can read more about the benefits of our collective agreement.

Application

If this sounds like something for you, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible. The deadline for applications is February 22, 2026. For a complete application, please attach your CV. When you apply, you will be asked to answer a number of questions, which will replace the cover letter.

If you have questions about the position, please feel free to contact the recruitment manager Charlotte Hellvig: [email protected] (mailto:[email protected])/ 0702450612.
