We are now looking for IT security specialists for Operations and Infrastructure, a part of the IT department.

The main task of the IT department is to provide IT services to the entire Police Authority. The IT department is an important part of crime prevention and law enforcement efforts and is one of the most important tools for streamlining and improving the quality of police work.

Operations and Infrastructure is responsible for the management, development, and lifecycle management of the police's IT infrastructure and IT services in the areas of data and telephony. Operations and Infrastructure coordinates the deployment of the Police Authority's IT services, release management, and is responsible for preparedness and continuity planning, IT incidents, IT problems, and changes.

Operations and Infrastructure also has a national functional responsibility for information and IT security, signal protection, and is responsible for investigations when system and security monitoring has detected security incidents or security deficiencies. Operations and Infrastructure should also provide support for development and management, be responsible for conducting security tests, audits, and follow-up of IT security.

Job Description

As an IT security specialist, you will be part of the IT and information security group. The group mainly works to identify requirements and provide support regarding IT and information security in technology and system development within the police's IT environment and IT services. This includes providing support in requirement specification in connection with new development, procurement, and changes to existing IT services, as well as conducting analyses and assessing IT security capabilities. In addition, you will collaborate with the PM CERT group to identify vulnerabilities and deficiencies and support during information security incidents.

You will have a strong focus on developing and systematizing our analytical work and conducting analyses.

Qualifications

This is an opportunity for you who have:

• An academic degree that includes IT and information security, or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way
• Several years of relevant experience in IT and information security
• Experience in leading and participating in risk analyses within IT and information security
• Very good knowledge of Swedish
• Swedish citizenship

It is advantageous if you also have:

• Experience in IT and information security work in a larger authority or company
• Certification in the field of IT security
