About Us

Systems Development belongs to Defence Technology and is a specialized development unit working with advanced products for the defense sector. Here, high-tech expertise and a strong focus on quality and safety come together. The unit consists of a tight-knit team of ten employees who work with system development, test management, and technical solutions that support our products throughout their lifecycle. We belong to Defence Technology, an area that operates broadly within the defense sector and drives the development of technology that makes a real difference to Sweden's defense capability and security.

Job Description

Do you want to strengthen Sweden's defense capability by improving the quality of complex systems and driving test automation forward?
We are looking for an experienced tester with strong technical skills and a passion for quality, automation, and smart solutions.

As a tester with us, you will develop and enhance our automated test suites at various levels. You will also work with manual testing when needed, for example, during exploratory testing or verification of new features. A key part of the role is to ensure requirement traceability and that quality is built in throughout the development chain – from design to delivery.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and further enhance automated tests at unit, integration, and system levels
• Ensure scalable, robust test automation integrated into CI/CD
• Combine automated tests with manual verifications and exploratory testing
• Participate in system design to ensure good testability
• Perform troubleshooting and analysis of system behaviors and test results
• Contribute best practices and support the team in test automation

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant higher education (e.g., computer science)
• Several years of experience in development and automated testing
• An interest in both technical depth and a holistic perspective
• An analytical, curious, and improvement-driven approach
• Good collaboration skills and an open, technology-interested attitude

Mandatory Requirements

• Programming in e.g., C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with automated GUI testing and Rapise
• System and API testing with e.g., Thunderclient, Selenium, Postman/Newman

Desirable

• Knowledge of frameworks like JUnit, NUnit, or xUnit
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or similar

As many of our clients are government agencies, you will need to have good knowledge of English and Swedish, both spoken and written.

Security Clearance & Education Verification
